High-Speed Internet
This is our flagship service, delivering broadband speeds wirelessly to homes and businesses across East Texas. You get an “always-on” connection. We offer unlimited data (no caps) on a rock-solid network, so you can stream, work, and play without worry. With packages ranging up to 1 Gbps, our fiber and wireless broadband is much faster than old satellite internet options – giving you a faster, more reliable alternative for rural connectivity.
Home & Mobile Phone
We provide wireless and Voice over IP telephone services. This keeps you connected to family and friends with unlimited local and long-distance calling, often at a fraction of the cost of traditional landlines. (Plus, you can keep your current phone number in most cases.)
Cable Television
Powered by DISH. We’re exploring partnerships to bring television and streaming entertainment services to our customers as well. Our goal is to be your one-stop shop for connectivity and entertainment. Stay tuned as we expand into TV offerings – and in the meantime, we’re happy to advise on the best streaming solutions that work with our high-speed internet.
About Skynet Country
Skynet Country was born out of necessity and a passion for community. In 2005, a local husband-and-wife team moved to the Gladewater area to enjoy their retirement – only to discover that high-quality internet was practically nonexistent in rural East Texas. Determined to solve this problem not just for themselves but for their neighbors, they poured their retirement savings into starting a new kind of internet company right here at home. What began as one family’s mission to get online quickly grew into a community-wide effort to bring reliable connectivity to our corner of Texas.

From day one, our founders understood the challenge: big telecom providers weren’t
interested in sparsely populated areas where the “business equation” didn’t guarantee huge
profits. But we knew our friends and neighbors deserved better. Skynet Country was built as a
reliable, affordable, quality solution to the dilemma of poor rural internet. We started with a
single tower and a handful of customers, and have been steadily expanding ever since – one
hill, one home, one business at a time. Nearly two decades later, we’re still family-owned, still
based in East Texas, and still driven by the belief that we are our customers. We’ve been in
your shoes, and that’s why we’re committed to treating you like part of the family.
